Today I have a full list of projects to either finish or get started! A first day of school shirt and hair clip for my neice Quinsey, a dress for my own sweet girl, a custom baby gift, a new ruffled diaper cover set for my store and hopefully end it al lby starting my first ever quilt! She becomes quite jealous when I sew for others or for my store. In her opinion I should be her own private seamstress and boy is she one tough customer! LOL She had a friend over last week and I taught them how to make cute fabric flower for hair clips. Hers was pink, turquoise, and zebra print.....so I created this shirt to go with it!&nbsp; I plan on listing it in my store as custom (you pick style of shirt and color scheme). Well let me start by introducing myself. My name is Nicholle...I'm 30-something, I have two of the most beautiful children EVER (Ok I'm biased), been married to my Hubs for almost 10 years....and I am a God fearing, conservative, SAVED child of God! I am&nbsp;self diagnosed ADD....I have a million thoughts running through this brain of mine....I'm famous for interrupting (annoying I know...sorry) because I'm afraid if I don't get out what's in mine brain at that very moment...it will be gone. I'm also famous among friends for being late....and over filling this plate of mine called life!!&nbsp; I love to sew and create...it's like therapy for me, it forces me to slow down and focus! I've been sewing children's items for almost 5 years now, however this last year has not been very productive for me. My husband works in the dairy industry and with the economic times we are in, the dairy biz took a pretty hard hit last year, out of necessity I took a part time job working at night in a residential care home for mentally disabled adults, and with this job went all the extra time for sewing!! :( <br />Don't get me wrong....I really like my job, it's perfect for me....a nurturer by nature, taking care of people is what I do.... but I really miss doing what I love! Recently the Lord has blessed my Hubs with a new job position and the Lord willing I will be home full time again soon!! That being said and with running a very light schedule with our school work for the summer...I am regrouping. I am getting back in the saddle and working away to re-stock my etsy store. I started going through my supplies and realized how much of just...this and that I have and alot of pieces of fabric that are to big to be scraps, but to small to do much with.&nbsp; I have decided to challenge myself to make as many things as I can with these items and then sell them at great prices with free shipping!!
